DAY-01: 29 MARCH 2012 : Arrival at GUWAHATI

Arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet assistance on arrival, and transfer to hotel and check in.Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY-02: 30 MARCH 2012 : GUWAHATI – ITANAGAR

After breakfast drive to Itanagar 429 kms, Itanagar is the state capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight Hotel.

DAY-03: 31 MARCH 2012 : ITANAGAR – ZIRO

After breakfast drive to Ziro( 167 kms/ 05 hrs), enroute visit Nishi tribal villages, on arrival check-in Hotel. Overnight at Ziro.
ZIRO: The headquarter of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of 1560metres, is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages.

DAY-04: 01 APRIL 2012 : ZIRO

After breakfast visit the Apatani tribal villages, evening local tribal dance. Overnight at Ziro.
DAY-05: 02 APRIL 2012 : ZIRO – DAPORIJ0

After breakfast drive to Daporijo ( 180 kms / 07 hrs),enroute visit Nishi and hill Miri tribal villages. Overnight at Daporijo.
DAPORIJO: It is the headquarter of ‘Upper Subansiri district’. It stands at an elevation ofaround600metersfrom sea level.Daporijo inhabitants go on to have belonged to Hill Miri, Adi Gallong, and Tagin tribe.
DAY-06: 03 APRIL 2012 : DAPORIJO – AALOO

After breakfast drive to Along, the home of Adi-Gallong tribe, Enroute visit Tagin and Adi-Gallong tribal villages. Overnight at Aaloo.
AALOO: It is located at an altitude of 300 m from the sea level. Sitting amidst abundant natural surroundings, Along in Arunachal Pradesh is a small town with beautiful villages. Along Arunachal Pradesh is a most ideal place to spend the hot summer seasons. The picturesque surroundings laced with brilliant plantations makes Along in Arunachal one of the most perfect health resorts of India.
DAY-07: 04 APRIL 2012 : AALOO

After breakfast full day tour of in & around ( Aaloo)Along. Evening visit the Festival Ground meet the “Shaman”. Overnight Hotel Holiday Cottage.

DAY-08: 05 APRIL 2012 : AALOO

After breakfast drive to festival ground and experiance the festival activities.
Back for lunch at hotel and after refreshment
“Mopin” Festival of Adi-Gallong tribe of West Siang, East Siang, Upper Siang and Upper Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh. It is one of the major festivals celebrated in Arunachal Pradesh. Mopin is celebrated for wealth, prosperity, good health and universal happiness. Smearing the rice powder on each other’s faces marks the beginning of the festival which is celebrated for five days. Poning and Abang (the mystical song) run parallel and continuously during this period. Sacrifice of Mithun is an indispensable part of the Mopin festival.

DAY-09: 06 APRIL 2012 : AALOO – KOMSING

After breakfat drive to Pangi 38 kms, cross the Cane suspension bridge, trek 4 hrs to Komsing village of Adi-Minyong tribe. Meet the villagers and interact with them. Overnight at village house.
Day 10: 07 April 2012: KOMSING – PASIGHAT

Morning trek back to Pangi, continue drive to Pasighat 68 kms, enroute visit tribal villages. Overnight at Pasighat.
PASIGHAT: The district headquarters of East Siang district, the oldest administrative centre of erstwhile NEFA. Situated on the bank of the mighty Siang River, the main tributary of Brahmaputra bound on both sides by snow-clad peaks, rocky Mountains and virgin forests.
DAY-11: 08 APRIL 2012 : PASIGHAT – ROING

After breakfast drive to Rane Ghat board the ferry to go across Siang River, continue drive to Roing, Enroute visit Adi Padam Village of Mebo and Dambuk, Idu-Mismi village of Aohali. Overnight at Roing.
ROING: It is a picturesque town in a valley by the side of the mighty Dibang River.
DAY-12: 09 APRIL 2012 : ROING

After breakfast visit in & around Roing, visit tribal villages of Adi-Padam and AdiMishmi tribe. Overnight at Roing.
DAY-13: 10 APRIL 2012 : ROING – TEZU

After breakfast drive to Tezu 88 kms. Enroute visit villages. Overnight Circuit House/ Tourist Lodge.
DAY-14: 11 APRIL 2012 : TEZU – HAYULIANG

After breakfast drive to Hayuliang 135 kms, enroute visit Digaru-Mishmi tribal villages. Overnight Inspection Bungalow.
DAY-15: 12 APRIL 2012 : HAYULIANG – NAMSAI

After breakfast drive to Namsai 160 kms, enroute visit tribal villages. Over night Circuit House.

DAY-16: 13 APRIL 2012 : NAMSAI

After breakfast full day in & around Namsai, late afternoon visit the festival ground. Over night Circuit House.

DAY-17: 14 APRIL 2012 : NAMSAI

“The Sangken” festival. Participate the festival. Sangken festival is an occasion to bathe the images of Lord Buddha ceremoniously. This also heralds the New Year and people sprinkle water on each other as a sign of merriment. Over night Circuit House.
DAY-18: 15 APRIL 2012 : NAMSAI – DIBRUGARH

After breakfast drive to Dibrugarh 115 kms. Today is the “Bohag Bihu” Festival of Assamese, Bihu or Bohag Bihu is the biggest festival of the people of Assam. It is a festival that transcends all religious and class barriers bringing people together in a free and uninhabited manner. The first day of Bohag Bihu is known as the 'Goru Bihu' and is reserved for cattle rites. Houses are cleaned, the cows feet are washed, oil rubbed on their horns and hooves and some times they are decorated with garlands. The next day is 'Manuh Bihu' day; on this day homage is paid to elders, relatives and friend. The Bihu meal is a special one consisting of Chira, curds and sweets. The third day of Bihu is sometimes called the 'Gosain Bihu' and is set apart for religious services. Over night Hotel.
DAY-19: 16 APRIL 2012 : DIBRUGARH
